Terms of use Last updated 9 October 2026.
These terms
These terms apply when you use Lebe, provided by Lemo Financial Services Limited, registration number CS227571025, registered at The Anmut Building, Amrahia, Accra. By using Lebe you agree to them.
What Lebe is
Lebe is an assistant that helps you manage money held in accounts and wallets that you already own. It is not a wallet, and it does not hold a balance for you. Payments are settled through the licensed payment service providers and financial institutions that hold your accounts.
Lemo Financial Services Limited is not a bank. Your money stays with those providers at all times, and their own terms also apply to your accounts with them.
Insights, guidance and reminders
Lebe can show you where your money went, point out patterns, suggest ways to spend or save, and remind you about bills and goals. This is general information to help you decide. It is not personal financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and the decisions you make are your own.
Using the service
You must be at least 18 years old, and the accounts and phone number you use must be your own. You are responsible for keeping access to your phone and messaging account secure, because somebody with access to it can send instructions in your name.
You agree not to use Lebe for anything unlawful, and not to attempt to interfere with how it works.
Verifying who you are
Before Lebe moves money for you, we verify your identity with your Ghana Card and a photo of your face, as the law requires. The details you give must be true and your own. We may ask you to verify again, and we may limit or refuse the service if we cannot verify you, or if the name on your Ghana Card does not match the account you pay from.
How we handle the information you give us for this is set out in our privacy policy.
Instructions and confirmation
Before money moves, we read back the amount, the destination and the account it will come from, and we wait for you to confirm. Once you confirm an instruction we act on it, and it may not be possible to reverse it.
It is your responsibility to check the details you confirm. We are not able to recover money sent to a destination you confirmed in error, although we will help you try.
Fees
Where a fee applies to something you ask us to do, it is shown to you before you confirm. Providers involved in a payment may apply their own charges, which are set by them and not by us.
Your information
How we collect, use and protect your personal information is set out in our privacy policy.
Availability
We work to keep Lebe available, but it depends on services we do not control, including messaging platforms and the systems of payment providers and banks. The service may be unavailable at times, whether planned or not.
When something goes wrong
If a payment fails or a record looks wrong, tell us in the conversation or email info@lemofinance.com. We investigate, tell you what we find, and put right anything that was our error.
Our responsibility
We are responsible for carrying out your confirmed instructions with reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses caused by details you confirmed incorrectly, by a third party service being unavailable, or by somebody using your phone or messaging account with your permission.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Ending your use
You can stop using Lebe at any time, and you can ask us to disconnect the accounts you have connected. We may suspend or end access where we reasonably believe it is being used unlawfully or in a way that puts other people at risk.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last changed.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, and the courts of Ghana have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
